Client - Severn Trent Water

A programme of baseline ecological surveys of Severn Trent Water's land holdings at Minworth Sewage Treatment Works was comissioned to assess the ecological interest of a large area of sludge lagoons.  The surveys, primarily of over-wintering birds, were used to assist in defining redevelopment options for the site.  The loss of open water areas was mitigated through a river restoration scheme on the River Thame, adjacent to the development site.
