An ecological impact assessment and flood risk assessment of proposals to re-develop an existing industrial site (former Pirelli factory) for new industrial use. The ecological work included surveys for Great crested newt, Black redstart and Water vole. An ecological , in the light of a letter from Bexley Council (Development Control) to Michael Sparks Associates (dated 3rd June 2005) stating that Water vole is present on site. Ecological advice on the design of a new pond was also provided to the Landscape Architects and an ecological management plan produced. Work associated with the Flood Risk Assessment included the production of an emergency evacuation plan (based on a breach modelling report prepared by URS under commission direct from MSA).
